Leo Crandall holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has worked for the Phoenix and the Syracuse Symphony Orchestras, Rome Art and Community Center, and the Cultural Resources Council where he worked tirelessly to promote local initiatives in the arts. Leo is a singer/songwriter/composer playing the requite, cello, and guitar and has recently toured Africa through the State Department’s Cultural Diplomacy Program. His music has been heard all over the world.
Ashley Gusman was born and raised on Marcellus St. in the Near Westside. She is a student at Signature music with Dick Ford and she performs regularly at gala’s banquets, and private dinners.
Established in 2000, Signature Syracuse is a holistic music education program for teen musicians in the Syracuse School District that provides free lessons, free instruments, performance opportunities, guidance, and college preparation.
